Please be patient while the below gallery loads…

Here is our current wedding portfolio, which will give you an overview of our shooting style. As you will see from the above gallery, we have a modern, creative style that captures the beauty, glamour and story of the weddings we shoot. Wedding, Jim & Angela, Gold Coast

Jim and Angela had a traditional Greek ceremony at the Greek Orthodox church at Bundall on the Gold Coast. Their reception was at the beautiful Sofitel at Broadbeach. Jim and Ang were so great to work with. Their interactions were natural and spontaneous, and they were really ‘into’ every part of their day. We had our photo shoot on the beach at Broady and were lucky to be shooting at the right time of day to capture the beautiful sunset. Here are a sneak peak at a few images from their day…

Wedding, Josh & Renae, Gold Coast

I recently shot Josh and Renae’s wedding. They were seriously two of the nicest people I have met in recent years and I had a total blast shooting them !! The ceremony was at Rosser Park at Ashmore, a.k.a The Gold Coast Regional Botanic Gardens. Interestingly, if you ask most Gold Coast residents where the botanic gardens are, a LOT of people will tell you that we don’t have botanic gardens here on the Coast. I’ve lived here for 34 years, and it was only last year that I found out that the gardens were there at Ashmore. I don’t know how that’s possible…I must have spent most of my life with my head in an ice cream bucket? Anyway, enough about flower pots, check out a few photos from the day…

I spent the first part of the day getting some cool shots of Josh (by the way…great name you have there… good choice). Josh had a very suave look that screamed out “Put me in a Roger David Catalog!!”.

Renae, on the other hand, wasn’t going for the suave look that Josh had. She was happy to settle for ‘drop dead gorgeous’! We had literally 5 minutes to get these bridal portraits before racing out the door to the ceremony…

I love how this next one turned out. The light wrapped beautifully around Renae’s dress.

The location shoot was a load of fun. Josh and Renae interacted extremely well, which helped us to capture some nice, relaxed, natural portraits.

Josh and Renae, thanks again for a fantastic day. I wish you all the best for your future together.

Wedding, Stephen & Jessica, Northern NSW

I recently travelled South, across the border, along numerous kilometres of country roads, up some hills, through a few puddles, along a couple of dirt tracks and up a winding path to a place called Koonyum Retreat, which for those of you who are are unfamiliar, is one of the most spectacular locations one could possibly choose for a wedding. To borrow some text from their website…Koonyum Retreat is “a private sanctuary nestled among billowing Eucalyptus, perched on the edge of a great cliff with ocean views of Byron Bay and beyond forever”. If you don’t believe me have a look at this shot from Stephen & Jessica’s ceremony…

The whole day unfolded perfectly, and we were even treated to a late afternoon thunderstorm out over the valley. Here’s a few photos from the day…

The girls had a chance to relax, enjoy the amazing view, and have a few glasses of bubbly before heading off to the ceremony…

The burnt-out trees from recent bushfires provided an interesting natural frame for a few photos…gold coast wedding photographer

Wedding, Jason & Jamie, Gold Coast

Jason and Jamie had an awesome wedding at the exclusive Palazzo Versace on the Gold Coast recently. Jamie works in the creative arts industry and really wanted some creative non-traditional photos with a touch of style!! She loved our portfolio and trusted us with the job. I’m so glad she did, because we had an absolute blast on her wedding day. Here’s a selection of photos from the day…

Jason was such a cool cat. I took my time, and captured some nice relaxed portraits of him.

All the boys were in a great mood and there were plenty of laughs between them all.

Jamie looked beautiful, especially her stunning eyes. The soft light in the room really bought out the colour in here eyes nicely.

The girls were hard at work doing the ‘bridesmaid thing’, and helping Jamie to get all her accessories into place.

And who could blame Jason for getting a little emotional at the sight of his beautiful bride heading down the aisle to be with him?
