Gold Coast Wedding Photography, Cameron & Lynsay

Photography
We met with a few photographers before finding White Pearl Photography. Once we met Josh we knew straight away that we had found our photographer! He was very easy to get along with and very relaxed in all the meetings we had with him. On the wedding day Josh was prompt and professional, there was no stress or pressure from him and he captured every special moment of our day in his own unique way. Cameron and I were looking for a photographer that took very natural, relaxed and intimate photos and Josh did exactly that. Our location shoot was very entertaining and he made it extremely easy for our Bridal party, Cameron and myself to feel relaxed and just enjoy the day. When we received our photos we were taken aback by how awesome they turned out. They were just perfect! Our favourite photos were from the location shoot at the beach…they were absolutely amazing and looked like they were straight out of a wedding magazine…definitely over and above our expectations. We have received so many positive comments about the photos, and it just shows how much passion Josh has for the job he does. We cannot thank White Pearl Photography enough for all the special memories that were captured.

The proposal
Cameron told me that we were going away for the weekend to visit his brother in Ballina, which was his method to get me to pack an overnight bag. On the way down to Ballina he told me that he wanted to show me through a rainforest resort in Byron Bay that he had heard of. He had organised someone to show us around the resort and give us details, in case we would like to stay there in the near future. The resort had access straight through to the beach so before we left, we went for a beach walk. On the way back, he wanted to inspect a different room at the resort just to see what they looked like inside. As I stepped inside the room, there were rose petals on the floor, flowers and Champagne on the table, and music playing. As I turned to Cameron, I realised what was happening…he was on one knee and proposing!

Ceremony & Reception
We had looked at a few places to get married but nothing really appealed to us until we went and looked at The Glades in Robina. The open garden area overlooked the lake and it was just perfect, it was exactly what we were looking for. The wedding planner, Lauren, made it very easy for us to choose this venue as she was very easy going and always available. Nothing was ever too hard and she provided everything we asked for and more. We knew the colour scheme we wanted and how we wanted the ceremony and reception room set up and Lauren took care of everything. The reception room decor was beyond what we were expecting. The compliments that we received about the set up, table decorations, colour scheme and lighting were exceptional.

Favourite Part of the day
Our favourite part of the day was definitely the time we spent with our Bridal party taking photos during the location shoot. We felt totally overwhelmed to be spending time with amazing people whom we had chosen to stand by us through a very intimate and special occasion. Some advice to other brides would be to just stay relaxed and have fun, and if possible, take 10 minutes away from it all with your spouse and take it all in. Soak up all the love and attention that you get, as it is your one moment to shine bright like a diamond.

Honeymoon Destination
Before Cameron even proposed we said that when we get married and go on our honeymoon that we would either go to Bora Bora or the Maldives, as they were our two favourite places and definitely our ‘must visit’ destinations. We decided on the Maldives and we could not have picked a more relaxing destination. The Maldives is definitely another world of its own. The beaches, the colour of the water, the service, food and the accommodation were remarkable. It was definitely a place we will never forget and would like to visit again.
